Adam Blandino (ItsNotAdam) - Acceptance (Original Mix)

Adam Blandino (AKA ItsNotAdam), the 22 year old producer from Miami, Florida gives us this uplifting gem of a song straight from the progressive house gods. His says his main musical influence came when he heard the song "Strobe" by Deadmau5, and the quality and atmospheric trippy-ness of "Acceptance" certainly proves it. If you love progressive house, get to know Adam because there will definitely be more to come from this young producer from the land of house! Follow Adam on Twitter and check out more of his sounds on SoundCloud!

Madeon - The City [Now Available]

Madeon decides to drop his new single “The City” that he has been teasing with a release in the US for that past few days. It was premiered this past weekend by Annie Mac on BBC Radio One after an official preview a few days before. He is fresh on the heels of his 18th birthday and his massively successful single “Finale” that may be his best effort to date. “The City” brings us back to his french disco roots, where “Finale” had a bit of an edgeier sound with some elements of DNB. Zak Waters provides vocals on the song that Madeon has said is the favorite track he has done, which says something considering the quality in his discography with “Icarus” “Finale” and the plethora of quality remixes. While I do not think this is as good as “Icarus” or “Finale”, “The City” is still a very good track and we can only expect more great things from this young prodigy. News on worldwide release tomorrow and on Beatport shortly.

Get it now on Itunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-city-single/id555764946

Alesso & Dirty South - City of Dreams [Brand New]

It has not been a bad few years for Alesso. The Swede has embraced the support of fellow artists Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and Tiesto, justifying the elevated pedestal he has acquired following the growth of his reputation. The success of tracks such as Pressure, Calling and Years has propelled him to the forefront of a dance music pack seeking to perfect the anthemic house sound.

City of Dreams epitomises everything that Alesso is doing right. The guitar driven intro, graced with the vocals of Ruben Haze, creates the perfect build-up for a drop that would make any of the aforementioned producers jealous.  With the festival season coming to an end, the Stockholm DJ has made a convincing bid to ensure his track is the one left ringing in the ears of house music enthusiasts as the sun sets on Summer 2012.

Many fear that dance music's progression into the mainstream could begin killing the the genre; if this track is anything to go by, the mass investment, production and promotion of artists such as Alesso should not only be accepted, but encouraged.

The newly crowned king of stadium house has done it again.

Dada Life - Feel The Dada (Dyro Remix)

As they continue to gear up for what looks to play out as one of their biggest releases thus far, Swedish masters of the fuzz Dada Life unveil of a new remix of their next single a week ahead of it’s Monday release.
Still hot on the heels from his Wall Recordings debut alongside Ansol titled ‘Top Of The World‘, Amsterdam’s Jordy von Egmond, better known to the world as Dyro, is first to bat for the remix package. Replacing the original’s already acclaimed instrumental work with his characteristically grinding Electro House stylings, ‘Feed The Dada‘ receives a sturdy signature remix from one of Holland’s finest talents currently on offer.
‘Feed The Dada’ will be released August 27.

ETCETC and Brillz and Diplo - Bueller EP

An ETC!ETC! EP in which he's teamed up with Brillz and Diplo to make an absolute banger. This EP fuses the movie Farris Bueller's Day off, with some killer beats. It does kind of qualify as the new category of "Trap", but who cares these days! Not me... It's an excellent EP and you should give it a listen. Oh and... try not to break you neck on this one. Download free from Soundclouds site or on Mediafire. Enjoy!

Adrian Lux - Weekend Heroes (Bauer & Lanford Remix)

The beautifully structured melodies of Adrian Lux's music are well known throughout the industry. The 26 year old Swede combines hauntingly mesmerising vocal lines with smooth synth to create a sound that will appeal to almost anyone. With the backing of Ultra Records, the future looks bright for the DJ/Producer.

Successfully evading the risk of losing the eloquent layers of music strung together by Lux, Bauer & Lanford find the perfect balance with their take on one of their fellow countryman's lesser known tracks, Weekend Heroes. Whilst maintaining the gorgeous build-up that makes the Swede's sound so distinct, the Scandinavian pair integrate a drop that is sure to propel the track into the sets of countless DJs.

The Swedish dance music armada continues to show no signs of slowing down it's siege of the scene.

Listen to the duo's tune on Soundcloud now (below).

Avicii "Superlove" Ft. Lenny Kravitz [Video Premiere]

Avicii's new video "Superlove" isn't your average dance party. We follow a bespectacled music fan as he happens upon a mysterious Walkman.

After popping in the cassette, our hero is compelled to pop and lock like it's before the financial crisis. Avicii's infectious track pumps along with the altered vocals of rock starLenny Kravitz.

But when the video's star gets a little too excited from dancing, he bangs his head and is catapulted into a neon brainscape. We travel down a corridor of ladies' legs, through the mouth of a tiger and into a smokey party of flamboyantly dressed ravers, ready to trip to the beat.

AND, there's a twist ending. So what are you waiting for? Watch Avicii's video for "Superlove" below, and always practice safe dancing.

He'll be touring around the U.S. this fall, so check him out if you get the chance! And as if the one song wasn't enough, he put out a trailer preview of the entire EP. Check the clips out below!

Diplo ft. Lazerdisk Party Sex - Set It Off

Mad Decent's own Diplo dropped the official video for "Set It Off" featuring Lazerdisk Party Sex, which is fitting given that a stripper graces our eyes from start to finish. Gareth Wyn - Sandstorm Remix

There is a new remix release out that will take you on a sweet ride of the nostalgia train.  English producer and DJ Gareth Wyn has released a great remix of the classic Darude track "Sandstorm" through New State Music.  This guy has traveled the world playing in Jakarts, Indonesia, and more while making quite a name for himself.  He currently has his own podcast that has received acclaim from all over.  I'd definitely recommend picking this track up if you want an upbeat addition to your library.  Follow him on his Facebook and Twitter pages.

Solid Stone - Surge/Topor Dual Release

Canadian producer Elias Barouche of the Solid Stone project has released 2 fresh tracks, Surge and Torpor from Re*Brand/Armada.  Both are intense progressive trance tracks that really showcase his sound.  He began his journey in 2010 with this project and has already received support from headliners such as Above and Beyond, as well as featured on Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" podcast.  I am excited to see what he has to offer for us in the future.  I'd keep a close eye on this guy, as he going to be climbing the charts very soon.  Pick it up exclusively on Beatport today, and other outlets in early September. Exclusive Interview w/ Dave Silcox

Hi everyone,

We had the chance to have an interview with Dave Silcox he just released a brand new track called "Hearts" on Revealed Recordings [Hardwell's Label]

Coming straight out of Maidstone, a new blend of Dirty and Twisted Electro is making a name for Dave Silcox.

Having produced music and performed for numerous years and originally starting out on Hip-Hop tracks, it took a trip to the White Isle of Ibiza to open his eyes to the huge world of opportunities within house music. His work is frequently featured on radio shows including that of Pete Tong, Zane Lowe (Gave a remix 'Hottest Record In The world'), Fearne Cotton, Huw Stevens & Steve Smart from Kiss 100, had live & radio support for his new track 'Only You' from Laidback Luke, Gareth Emery playing 'This Is Love' & even none other than Tiesto playing 'Change My World' in his Clublife Podcast! Dave currently has a DJ residency at Gatecrasher & has played many of the house hotspots here & abroad bringing his own unique blend of energy to the dance floors

What other producers, songwriters and/or artist do you see as your primary inspirations?
"My main inspirations are Laidback Luke, Afrojack Alesso, Eric Prydz,
Axwell & really like some of the new guys coming up like Dyro & Joe
Garston too."

Did you first started producing music or Djing?
"I started producing first, then moved to DJing."

Where & what venue was your favorite performance?
"One of my favourite sets of this year was at an Ibiza party for
Gatecrasher in Area, Watford, such a vibe that night."

What software do you use to produce your music? Do you have any extra equipments in your studio?
"Just have Cubase on PC with some Focal monitors & everything in the
box. Want some outboard gear soon though!"

Who is the one artist you would love to do a collaboration with?
"There are loads but if I had to choose it would have to be Laidback Luke"

We see that you released a track on Revealed Recordings, how did you get in contact with them?
"We sent a track to them & they got back saying they really liked it &
wanted to release it."

Do you have any advice for young people who want to become electronic music producers?
"The main bit of advice for upcoming producers is to make track after
track after track until you get there & don't give up. I made at least 300
tracks before I was happy with what I was making. With so many tutorials &
forums online you can find out what you need to progress so easily."

What can we expect from Dave Silcox for the rest of 2012?
"The rest of this year will consist of a few more releases, remixes &
hopefully many more live sets. Watch out for our remake of Praise You
coming out on Spinnin records in October."

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions dave! We hope to hear more great release from you!

Madeon - Finale (Dillon Francis Remix)

Hello all! I'm Tony and I'm proud to be apart of this site. In my inaugural post I decided to go with a producer who is one of my favorites in the game today. Joey Suki - Dutchin' (Festival Mix)

DJ/Producer Joey Suki is yet another producer from the Netherlands, but don't get him mixed up with the rest. He's been developing his sound since 2007, and with the release of his new song "Dutchin'," it's clear that the young producer has massive talent. Don't take it from me, big-time names like Tiesto, Hardwell, SHM, Firebeatz, and more have supported his high-energy tunes! Be sure to follow Joey on Twitter and check out his website!

Basto - BONNY (Original Mix)

If ever there was any doubt that the modern dance music scene was forgetting it's underground rave origins, Basto provides an emphatic reminder that filthy bass culture is alive and kicking like never before. Buoyed by the support of some of the world's most respected DJ's (David Guetta and Sander Van Doorn included), the Belgian continues his siege into the headphones of those who matter with his latest banger, BONNY.

Echoing his previous hit I Rave You, spun by everyone from Tiesto to Madeon this summer, BONNY erupts with a drop that is sure to send shockwaves through the genre. The build up, reminiscent of an electronic Irish folk dance, is a beautifully crafted juxtaposition to the relentlessly driven bass that ensues.

Basto's original fusion of classic trance build ups and energetic dubstep drops looks certain to challenge the established collective of top DJ's, ready to exploit any lethargy amongst those at the forefront of the current scene.

Emalkay - Bring It Down (Official Video)

Emalkay's "Bring It Down" is one of those end-of-the-night dub songs where you pick your partner for that walk home. The visuals for this song have some dark, post-apocalyptic undertones with quick subliminal flashes which make the song that much more bad ass. Calvertron – Deconstruction EP

Calvertron is a name that has been with Rottun Records (owned by Excision) since their early beginnings. Now, if you know anything about the artists associated with Rottun, then you know these guys absolutely “DON’T F*CK AROUND!!” - as Excision would say. I think the new Deconstruction EP, out today on Beatport (although released on Jack Knife Records, rather than Rottun) will prove that point quite well. I can only provide you with three clips from the new release, but if you head over to Beatport, you can also preview all 5 tracks; that is, of course, right before you buy the full EP because of it’s face-melting filth. Seriously, I am just awaiting the day Calvertron comes to Philadelphia; you will all be alerted immediately. For now, check this out!
