  8. if I vote my information is safe and advertising free? i think this is just to make a database

  9. Yes mate, your information will be safe. You will only receive emails regarding the DJ Poll.

  10. I support this idea! we all know we need a different top100, a real one! but I have two things to say: 1. for the poll to be successful it needs recognition, unfortunately DjMag has it and for DJs to be call to a festival, for tours and so on are always based on the DjMag poll. and if this poll gets recognition the results will start looking pretty much like DjMags 2. For a new poll to be different from DjMags it should have a filter for pop and comercial shit voters, something like having a small tests before voting so only people that at least know the music well can vote. Anyway for a start this is perfect and you sr. deserve a medal for having the balls to do this.

    1. Hi mate, thank you for your comment. We will definitely consider a small test for next year. We are currently trying to talk to some underground record labels that did not have any artists on the top 100 to try to have those artists/labels share our poll. Hopefully this will help us have a different top 100. I am sure our results will be much more reliable next year once we can find enough labels and blogs to work with us. How great would it be to have a completely different top than DJ Mag? We really didn't planned on doing this poll it was last minute, but we believe the electronic music scene needs it and will appreciate it as well!

      Best,
      DailyEDM Team

    2. It WILL get recognition as long as we keep on spreading this site everywhere. DjMag got it's recognition because we, the real listeners gave it trhough the years... And now we think it's poll is bullshit (did I say now?)... so let's change that.

I think we should spread it on facebook, if you make a fan page I can add the website in a tab to let people vote without even getting out of fb, but first... let's make that test... otherwise it'll be the same.

  13. You guys don't know what you're doing technology-wise. Requiring name and email doesn't do shit.

    1. We are paying close attention to every vote to stop scams. We have already deleted about 100 votes that we believe are scams. Even if it may be a mistake we rather not take the risk. Almost any polls around the world works the same way, they only ask for name & email.

  14. Surely Tom Fall should at least be in the top 100 list
Andrew Rayel at number 77? Take on of the 7s off, and David Guetta...how is this guy in the top 100. A little bit of rnb, a little bit of s**t electro and wow hes got a new single

Armin, W&W, Andrew Rayel, Tom Fall, Orjan Nilsen :-)

    1. I am really surprised you are saying that every track, that David Guetta produces sounds the same and then you mention Tom Fall. I simply can't stand any of his tracks. They all sound the same and every is terrible for me :P Maybe he doesn't simply fit my style (Solarstone, Eco, John 00 Fleming, Arctic Moon, Giuseppe Ottaviani ;) )

  15. After this list has been published on December 7th, will you as well organize such an amazing celebration party with your #1 DJ, as was done in the Ministry of Sound on October 19th? I sure would come!
