Brown & Gammon - Dirty Doris/Rock Da Beats EP

Brown & Gammon has done it again with this DIRTY release after the How I Feel EP.  Dirty Doris feature a sample from a 1950's swing song it seems! It meshes really well with the BASS come you've come to expect from a member of Circus Records. Enjoy these two excepts from the album. Check it here on Beatport!

Flosstradamus - X EP Pt. 1of3 Free DL

Enter Flosstradamus! These Chicago heavy bass hitters are probably my favorite new producers in the game.  They are single handedly injecting TRAP into their brand of electronic smash! Flosstradamus's Autobot and J2K are respected by their peers and admired by legions of fans for their expertly blended cross-genre contributions. And the Floss is certainly "something they do like." Enjoy the first of three releases in the coming week.

ETCETC and Brillz and Diplo - Bueller EP

An ETC!ETC! EP in which he's teamed up with Brillz and Diplo to make an absolute banger. This EP fuses the movie Farris Bueller's Day off, with some killer beats. It does kind of qualify as the new category of "Trap", but who cares these days! Not me... It's an excellent EP and you should give it a listen. Oh and... try not to break you neck on this one. Download free from Soundclouds site or on Mediafire. Enjoy!

Zomboy- Vancouver Beatdown and EP Preview

British Dubstep producer Zomboy put out a new banger off his upcoming EP through his Twitter earlier today. One of my personal favorite producers, his style is so unique and this track is nothing different. It is very upbeat, while maintaining its hard hits. He'll be touring around the U.S. this fall, so check him out if you get the chance! And as if the one song wasn't enough, he put out a trailer preview of the entire EP. Check the clips out below!

Calvertron – Deconstruction EP

Calvertron is a name that has been with Rottun Records (owned by Excision) since their early beginnings. Now, if you know anything about the artists associated with Rottun, then you know these guys absolutely “DON’T F*CK AROUND!!” - as Excision would say. I think the new Deconstruction EP, out today on Beatport (although released on Jack Knife Records, rather than Rottun) will prove that point quite well. I can only provide you with three clips from the new release, but if you head over to Beatport, you can also preview all 5 tracks; that is, of course, right before you buy the full EP because of it’s face-melting filth. Seriously, I am just awaiting the day Calvertron comes to Philadelphia; you will all be alerted immediately. For now, check this out!

Barron - Warborn EP

Barron’s new “Warborn EP” dropped on Beatport today. My favorite track I listened to is this drumstep gem titled “Full Throttle.” Play this bitch out on the way to the bar tonight. You can pick up the rest of the EP here.

Jack Beats - Careless EP (Ft. Diplo, Dillon Francis & More)

Scottish DJ duo, Niall Ferguson and comrade Ben Geffin, formally known as Jack Beats have released a 7-track EP titled Careless under the blooming young Skrillex-launched OWSLA label. The EP features a variety of collaborations including the likeness of fellow label kin and LA Moombah master Dillon Francis, British singer/rapper Example and Diplo of Major Lazer.
The EP surges with the Jack Beats hybrid style of electronic music as the artists blend a variety of dubstep bass lines (“Hooligans” & “End of Love”), moombah rhythms (“Epidemic” & ”War”) and electro synths (“Careless”).  The artists’ do a spectacular job of buttoning up each track with strong displays of crescendo and heavy-hitting transitions.
Be sure to check out the entire EP below.

Wolfgang Gartner – Casual Encounters of the 3rd Kind EP

After a weekend of nonstop action at Identity Festival, Wolfgang Gartner got down to business this morning and dropped a two-track EP on Beatport. My initial reaction to Casual Encounters of the 3rd Kind is a resounding mehhhh; there are no big, infectious melodies a la “Redline,” “Flexx” or the inimitable “Illmerica” here, and while that’s not automatically a bad thing, the clean, simple and repetitive game has been played to more kinetic and spectacular effect elsewhere (ex: Afrojack’s “Pop On Acid;” Wolfgang’s own “Space Junk”). Maybe it’s just that I’m aggressively not feeling the whiny loop at the beginning of “Girl on Boy” (can’t help but think that Alvin Risk would have done something better there) but these tracks just don’t seem to go anywhere that interesting. But who knows, maybe they’ll wind up being awesome live. We shall see, I guess. Check out the EP and let us know what you think.

Harvard Bass - "Plex" EP (Preview)

Coming off  the massive release ‘Pari’ with Bart B More, the newly LA-settled Harvard Bass wastes no time in dropping a huge new EP teaser on us to start the weekend. The PLEX EP is forthcoming on Teenage Riot Records (headed by JFK of MSTRKRFT), and features the new original along with three incredibly eclectic versions provided by Ego Troopers, St. Mandrew and John Roman. Ringing true to his sound, the EP title track ‘Plex’ is a whirlwind of techno, driven by HB’s signature buzzing leads and stabbing kicks. The remixes, however, make it ‘something for everyone’ – from Ego Troopers’ dutch house, the chainsaw electro of St. Mandrew and the deeper bass and staggering tribal sounds of John Roman. Check it out below, and grab it on July 31st.

Closing out an era and giving this volume it’s home in stores everywhere, The Destruction Series Vol 1 contains a few favorites you may already have as well as a heap of instrumentals for DJs and MCs, including tracks by Must Destroy remix contest winners Fista Cuffs and Droptek.

Deadmau5 - The Veldt EP (Remix By Tommy Trash & More)

Deadmau5 and his enormous mouse head return with The Veldt, the first in an upcoming series of EPs from the Canadian DJ/producer. Lead single "The Veldt," inspired by the recently deceased sci-fi author Ray Bradbury, is an epic eight-minute journey that partners Deadmau5's ecstatic production with Chris James' smooth, throaty vocals. On "Failbait," Deadmau5 teams with blunt-friendly rap veterans Cypress Hill for a banging track that steps away from EDM and firmly thumps into hip-hop territory.
