Russian-born German-raised EDM DJ/songwriter/producer, Zedd, is gearing up to release his forthcoming EP, Spectrum, on July 31st via Interscope Records.
The record features remixes of Zedd's massive single "Spectrum" (which
became the top track on Soundcloud after only 5 hours, instantly hitting
#1 on The Hype Machine) from some of the most important names in
electronic and dance music, including Armin Van Buuren, A-Trak, Arty, Monsta and Deniz Koyu,
and many more. Additionally, the EP also includes the acoustic piano
version of the track performed by Zedd and singer/songwriter Matthew Koma.
"Spectrum," has garnered widespread global attention, climbing into the
Top 10 on the iTunes dance chart and claiming the number one spot on
Beatport Worldwide for almost three weeks. The EP will also include a
brand new collaboration with Nicky Romero called "Human".

He has separated himself in a crowded field by drawing from a diverse musical training and background spanning from classical to post-hardcore/metal to electro house in order to make meticulously detailed and carefully produced compositions. Zedd first made waves with a series of well-received remixes of tracks by Skrillex, The Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim, and Lady Gaga (who choose him to open on the Asian leg of her world stadium-tour "The Born This Way Ball"). Zedd has appeared at numerous festivals including Coachella, Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Nocturnal, and is confirmed to appear at Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Hard Summer, Creamfields and Electric Zoo in New York.
