Zedd "Clarity" Tracklist and First Impression

Zedd released his new album "Clarity" today with much anticipation, riding the wave off his smash hit "Spectrum," and the first thing I noticed about the album were the features he chose to include. Making appearances are the likes of LIZ, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Tedder, Lucky Date, Bright Lights, and of course, Matthew Koma, which translated into some really great tracks. This album is chalk full of bangers, including my favorite track "Fall Into the Sky," which Ellie Goulding graces with her immaculate voice. All-in-all, Zedd lived up to the hype and "Clarity" is a must-buy for any EDM fan. What do you guys think of the tracklist?

Russian-born German-raised EDM DJ/songwriter/producer, Zedd, is gearing up to release his forthcoming EP, Spectrum, on July 31st via Interscope Records. The record features remixes of Zedd's massive single "Spectrum" (which became the top track on Soundcloud after only 5 hours, instantly hitting #1 on The Hype Machine) from some of the most important names in electronic and dance music, including Armin Van Buuren, A-Trak, Arty, Monsta and Deniz Koyu, and many more. Additionally, the EP also includes the acoustic piano version of the track performed by Zedd and singer/songwriter Matthew Koma.  "Spectrum," has garnered widespread global attention, climbing into the Top 10 on the iTunes dance chart and claiming the number one spot on Beatport Worldwide for almost three weeks.  The EP will also include a brand new collaboration with Nicky Romero called "Human".
A Rolling Stone 'Artist to Watch' for 2012, Zedd is poised to become one of the biggest names in the music world. He has separated himself in a crowded field by drawing from a diverse musical training and background spanning from classical to post-hardcore/metal to electro house in order to make meticulously detailed and carefully produced compositions. Nicky Romero Ft. Zedd - Human (Original Mix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

23-year-old Dutch sensation, Nicky Romero, has released an exclusive preview of his new track with Zedd titled "Human."  "Human" will be released on Beatport on July 31st, 2012 via Interscope Records.  Both Nicky Romero and Zedd have exploded into the EDM scene and are consistently releasing tracks that are both moving and beautiful, but also contain the intensity that EDM fans around the world yearn for.
The two genre-defying super producers, Zedd and Nicky Romero have come together to deliver an electro masterpiece filled with piercing low synths below an infectious melody, and topped with a female vocal.  Zedd's and Nicky's sound perfectly compliment each other and together creates an innovative piece of art.  "Human" is powerful and exciting and is an amazing example of what two musically focused producers together can create.

CounterPoint Music Festival

 

We like to keep you updates on music but also about any Dj Tour or Music Festival. If this festival is close to you, (30 minutes outside Atlanta) you definitely don't want to miss out! The line-up is great!

It seems that once festival season hits every year, there seems to be new events popping up that seem to be pushing the envelope of what could make the festival experience even better. Well we think we found one that is going to blow it out of the water. From the producers of Lollapalooza, ACL Fest, Camp Bisco and Lights All Nights, comes CounterPoint Festival. This 3-day event taking place from September 27-29, will be located 30 minutes outside of Atlanta on a beautiful 8,000 acre property located right next to the Chattahoocee River bank. Guest can camp out underneath the stars while enjoying stages of world class musicians, an arts village, local food and drinks, and an extreme sports demonstrations.

This festival is bringing together a wide range of artists from headliners such as Bassnectar, Skrillex, Avicii, Pretty Lights and Steve Angello, while also featuring acts such as Zedd, M83, Big Boi, Crystal Castles, Ghostland Observatory and R3HAB. Best part is, it won’t make you break the band to go. General Admission tickets start at just $165. When those tickets are sold out, they will then jump to $185.
