Every time I think “Oh come on, won’t this moombahton thing just go away?” or “Oh come on, won’t these Skrillex remixes go away?” (which, admittedly, is small minded of me) I just get completely astounded by what I hear (not always, though).
This bangin’ remix of Right In from Northie is absolutely killer and it barely has 2,000 views on Soundcloud. I know you guys can fix that!

Birdy Nam Nam – Goin’ In (Skrillex Goin’ Hard Mix) is one of 3 sick remixes that one of our favorites bro's just dropped on UKF DnB today! So pretty sure he has this remix, then a "Skrillex fast Remix", and then another remix as well of this track (Skrillex TRAP Remix rip below as well). I'm really enjoying some of the Trap like undertones of this track, and I'm glad skrillex can drop something different so all you haters can stop saying "all his shit sounds the same". Sonny proving how he's a legit producer right here. Make sure you check out all our other Skrillex tracks while you're at it. This track drops on OWSLA on July 17th, but we've got a nice DL to tide you over til then (The DL seems to be a 319 kbps studio rip, but I don't have spek so correct me if I'm wrong - it's prob just a UKF rip). But shit, it works for now. Are you as stoked about this new banger as I am?

Based on the title you can tell that this remix is something that Skrillex through together on a 3 hour plane ride LOL. It's interesting to see him dabbling in the Drumstep realm. For three hours of time putting it together, it's really not too bad (prob be even better if he spent more time on it). This track was leaked today by a 3rd party ringtone website... As most of you might have figured already, im a big fan of Aylen and his electro remixes. Yesterday, he announced his remix of Skrillex’s Summit. The original is a beautiful and pretty mellow track that Skrillex dropped in his Bangarang EP which released this past week. Aylen takes this track, speeds it up and fills it with those infectious basslines and electro synths at the drop. This kid fucking killed it this year. Can’t wait to see what he’ll be bringing us in 2012. Enjoy

CounterPoint Music Festival

 

We like to keep you updates on music but also about any Dj Tour or Music Festival. If this festival is close to you, (30 minutes outside Atlanta) you definitely don't want to miss out! The line-up is great!

It seems that once festival season hits every year, there seems to be new events popping up that seem to be pushing the envelope of what could make the festival experience even better. Well we think we found one that is going to blow it out of the water. From the producers of Lollapalooza, ACL Fest, Camp Bisco and Lights All Nights, comes CounterPoint Festival. This 3-day event taking place from September 27-29, will be located 30 minutes outside of Atlanta on a beautiful 8,000 acre property located right next to the Chattahoocee River bank. Guest can camp out underneath the stars while enjoying stages of world class musicians, an arts village, local food and drinks, and an extreme sports demonstrations.

This festival is bringing together a wide range of artists from headliners such as Bassnectar, Skrillex, Avicii, Pretty Lights and Steve Angello, while also featuring acts such as Zedd, M83, Big Boi, Crystal Castles, Ghostland Observatory and R3HAB. Best part is, it won’t make you break the band to go. General Admission tickets start at just $165. When those tickets are sold out, they will then jump to $185. CounterPoint also offers a wide variety of VIP  services starting at $365. Plus, for just $15 more to your General Admission ticket per person, you get to enjoy the experience of camping on site at this wonderful event. And the best part…THERE ARE NO FEES! Gotta love the sound of that.
