Kaskade on the Evolution of EDM

As one of the more outspoken and passionate supporters of the EDM movement, Ryan Haddon has taken the influential nature of his stage persona, known to every twenty-something as Kaskade, and used it to educate the general population on some important issues facing the electronic music industry today.   He wrote an insightful piece on the ethical dilemmas facing mashups here, which any aspiring producer should read, and he has followed up with a brief history of the true EDM story (found here ).   The story sheds some light on the true pioneers in electronic music, the Kraftwerks and Fat Boy Slims, and how their early electronica productions have paved the way for the EDM scene today.  So why not spend your time in class or in your cubicle and do some productive reading?
